The stakeholders in the Society’s aims are;
Individual men and women who have served their custodial sentence (or who are within 12 months of release) and are seeking help to turn their lives around and look towards a crime free future.
Prison staff at all levels who are critical to the success of each individual prisoner’s rehabilitation.
Employers and training providers who understand the economic advantages to be gained by employing and training ex-offenders, and in so doing contribute to the welfare of society by helping to reduce crime.
Other funders who agree to match fund or otherwise contribute to ensure that the sponsored programmes are effective, meaningful, and above all successful. The Society considers it paramount that funds are used appropriately and directly for the agreed purpose. The reputation and experience of the Society provides its funding partners with the assurance that the supervision it provides meets the highest professional standards.
The government which spends billions of pounds per year in maintaining the prison population, can benefit by supporting the work of the Society in reducing the incidence of re-offending.
