The current prison population in the United Kingdom hovers around 80,000 and two thirds of prisoners will probably return to prison within two years of their release. We believe this rate of re-offending reflects a failing rehabilitation process.
The Society is well known throughout the prison service and receives individual applications from prisoners from all over the country, but the Society directs its efforts to prisons located within Greater London and Home Counties (Click Download or pic right).
The Society has been at the forefront of promoting relevant training and education for ex-offenders who will have a London or Home Counties address to return to upon release.
