Sahid, coming towards the end of a long custodial sentence in an open prison in Kent applied for a Large Goods Vehicle drivers’ training course for which he was supported by the Society. He failed at his first attempt but was encouraged by the Prison Governor and was again funded by the Society to take a further test which he passed.
Now employed as an LGV driver, Sahid is moving towards release and a crime free life for himself and his family. ‘This second chance has changed my life, thank you’.
